I have NO patience for ironing

I got the crib bedding for the baby yesterday. It is soooo cute! Even better in person than in the picture. The green is brighter...like a kelly green, or green galore for you Stampin' Up! enthusiasts. The pink is close to regal rose. Anyway...I washed the sheet and dust ruffle last night so I could make up the bed today. Of course, I had to let them air dry and so they were extremely wrinkled. I felt a bit domestic, so I whipped out the iron (o.k. it was already out) and thought I was going to iron them nice and crisp. Yeah right! I remember why I NEVER iron! I do not have the patience for it at all! I will iron Little buddy's church shirt, but it is so small, that it takes like 2 seconds. To take on the task of ironing an entire dust ruffle? Crazy! I ironed 2 sides of it, and then really fast just ran the iron along the edge and called it good. I just put those other sides against the wall. I was all set to put the crib sheet on and finish the job when I remembered that I hadn't washed the mattress pad for the crib yet. So, now I am waiting for it to wash and dry so i can finally finish making the crib. Now I know, that it will just be collecting dust for the next 8 weeks, but it is so cute! I will just have to wash the sheet again. I might forego the ironing next time however.

I say...do it while you can!

That's so fun. You'll have to take pictures of your baby room once it's all set up.

Mary, I got it off Overstock.com. I really liked it obviously! I am just disappointed that I can't find any other accessories to match, like curtains etc. Anyway...I am very happy!
