The new bed

Little buddy LOVES his new bed. He was even willing to pose on it today so I could take some pictures. In fact, this pose was all him...I had no part in it. He climbed up on the bed and said "more pictures mommy" and then posed for me. So cute! Of course he wasn't dressed yet for the day, so his jammies fit right in with the bed!

I have to tell something so funny. This happened a few nights ago, but I can't stop laughing whenever I think about it, so I thought I better put it on my blog. As I have mentioned before, Little buddy is addicted to Charlie Brown. Well, the other night he wasn't feeling well, and didn't want to eat anything except chocolate milk all day. When T came home, we tried to have dinner, but Little buddy wanted to watch Charlie Brown. We decided tolet him since he wouldn't eat anything anyway. So while T and I are eating, T keeps listening and half-way watching Charlie Brown too. They were saying Linus's last name...Linus Van Pelt. And all of a sudden T says " So it's Linus Van Pelt...what's Charlie Brown's last name?" I just looked at him for a second, and when I realized he was serious, I busted up laughing! He figured out his blunder really quick, but still, I had a good laugh. And still do whenever I think about it. It was hilarious!

I went to the store today and got all the ingredients I need for Thanksgiving dinner. I came home and so far I have made my pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cranberry sauce, and jello salad. I need to make one more pie tonight before I call it quits for the day. Tomorrow i will have to make the rolls first thing, and then get the house cleaned up before I start on the mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, turkey (although T will do that...no way am I dealing with a 12 pound raw bird with guts inside! Yuck!)green beans and a special appearance of steamed broccoli since that's the only thing I know Little buddy will eat. In fact, all day today he wanted white milk, chocolate milk, waffles, pretzels and candy. But at dinner time he got a can of green beans out of the cupboard and said he wanted broccoli. So, we made him some broccoli (I had some frozen in the freezer). I figure if all he asks for is candy all day, then by golly the kid is going to get broccoli if he asks for it!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

That's great. Did you ask him who was buried in Grant's tomb?

Happy Turkey Day.

He's so grown up! Thanks for posting the pictures! Is that a toddler bed or a twin? The bed spread is super cute.

What fun pictures. I'm glad he likes his big boy bed. Too bad kids aren't more willing to pose for pictures more often.

So, is T an official Dr. T now? Is it over?
