We have so many leaves it isn't funny! Little Buddy helped daddy rake leaves last Saturday. He had a great time jumping into the leaves, and falling down like Charlie Brown. He has been watching Charlie Brown over and over these days. He's funny! Anyway...the front yard got raked, but the backyard is a different story. I bet if all the leaves were put into one huge pile, it would be like 10 feet tall! Seriously... I am not kidding when I say that. There are tons!!!!!!
I am feeling really sore and achy right now. I shouldn't have done what I did tonight considering I am 30 weeks pregnant, but you know when you get those urges, you have to follow through! T had to go to mutual, but really fast before he left I made him take the crib down so we could move it out of Little Buddy's room, and put up the bedframe. While he was gone, I put the dust ruffle on the bed, and assembled the safety railing to go on it so Little buddy won't fall out. That was tough! After working up a sweat trying to make sure it was tight enough, I then had to rearrange some furniture. I took all the toys out of his toy cupboard so I could move that, his rocking chair and ottoman, and the bookshelf. I am not really happy with the arrangement, but I couldn't move the dressers without help, so I had to leave them where they were which limited my arranging options. Those dressers will eventually go to the baby, but we have to find a dresser for Little buddy's room first.
Little buddy loves having a big boy bed. I thought he might want to go back and forth from that to the crib, but he knows that the crib is the babies now. He doesn't even need to be rocked before going to bed. he just climbs right in and snuggles down under his covers. It os sooo cute! The last few nights I don't think he has been feeling well, so he wanted us to stay by him and didn't want us to leave. I think he must be feeling better tonight, because he didn't seem to have any problems going to bed. Hopefully he will not fall out, and the railing will be tight enough, and he won't end up in our room 3 times during the night. I am getting sleep deprived! I was not expecting that to happen until the baby comes!
Well, I had better get my shopping list made so I can go get groceries for Thanksgiving dinner. I need to make the pies, rolls, cranberry sauce, and jello salad tomorrow. I also need to clean my house!!!!!I need a good night sleep tonight for sure!

Cute picture! Piece of cake posting those, right?
When Caleb was Eva's age we put him in his big boy bed. But, we knew we'd be getting another kid soon. I'm not in a hurry to let Eva out of hers, that's for sure! That's so good that your guy had no problem transitioning. Sometimes that can be a real struggle.
Hi Kerry! I cruised over here from Christy's blog. So you're a stamping up pusher too, huh? I think I remember Christy telling me about that, but my brain is a seive.
Congratulations about the big boy bed! Those milestones are always bittersweet for me. I want my kids to grow up, but I want them to be my babies forever too.
Do you mind if I link to you from my brand new blog? Christy has been helping me with it. She's a blogger queen.
