My Playlist

I have become addicted to this playlist thing! It is soooo much fun finding songs. My playlist is soooo random, but every song brings back a memory of a different time in my life. You will have to push play yourself to start it. I hope you all find a song that takes you back as well! Enjoy! And leave me a comment on any of the songs on here...I would love to know if we share any of the same memories!

I didn't know you were such a country fan. I also didn't know that Bruce Sprinsteen did a version of Walking in Memphis. I have the CD where Marc Cohn sings it. All great songs on that CD including "True Companion" which is the most romantic song every written.

Kerry I had to comment when I noticed - You say nothing at All by Allison Krauss was on your list. Jessica our adopted daughter who is disabled and unable to speak and I love to listen to this song together. Because she cannot speak she speaks volumes with her expressions and touches my heart daily at being the best mom I can be to my Children. When I played it even though she was napping in the office she awoke with a huge smile as she knows this is our song. Have a great day!

Oh yes, she is addicted. Ask her how long she was working on this playlist combined between last night and today.

Funny girl. I cannot believe the variety on there. Especially the NKOTB (New Kids On The Block).

It's a fun variety!

I had another funny story for your playlist favorite - Imagine "lost in your eyes" Debbie Gibson being sung in true opera style. This was one of the songs played at my brothers wedding (1992)- I was a bridesmaid in Perrywinkle with ruffles down my backside *ohYeah* - I was trying to hold back laughter with tears! I camped out for NKOTB tickets and got to meet Donnie and Danny's mom -had my picture made with them. They had the Right Stuff!!!

Funny! I soo love my songs! I origianlly had the Marc Cohn version, but then found the springsteen one, and I thught they sounded identical. I didn't realize i had substituted the one for the other. Oh well.

Deanna, you have such sweet stories to tell about your children.I am glad my song choices spark good memories for you as well...especially NKOTB! I was a Donnie fan!

I LOVE Toy Soldier. This is bringing back some great and not-so-great memories from the past!! Those one hit wonders were great!

Holy Cow!! I love Debbie Gibson. Bringing back some more memories. When did you graduate from HS??

Robyn I graduated HS in 95, so some of the songs are from when I was in middle school, and even younger. And thanks for the introduction to the Mandy Moore song, and Delta Goodrem! I love them!

Love your playlist - what fun! I think a playlist can show a lot about a person. (Like NKOTB - really?) (Okay, I was in love with them, too, when I was a kid!)
I'm totally glad I got into blogging, Kerry. I was missing you lots (especially during Playgroup lunch dates). Now at least we can stay in better touch!
