It's official. I have entered the world of the mini-van driving soccer mom. I just registered Logan today for soccer. He is soooo excited! He will be playing micro soccer, which is for four year olds. We get to spend 6 Saturdays starting Sep.6th, on the soccer field. I wasn't sure I would be too thrilled about this, since I am sooo not into sports, and honestly know nothing about soccer, other than you kick the ball into the goal, and can't use your hands. That's about it. You would think I would know more about it after having brothers and nephews all play, as well as a few friends in HS who played as well. What kind of a mom am I? Hopefully after this 6 week season is over, I will have picked up a thing or two. Anyway...I am actually getting a bit excited about it! I think it must be the proud mother who is thrilled to watch her little dude starting to do big boy things.Ok, I am sure I will be a bit emotional too. I am such a baby. My little guy will be starting pre-school and soccer all in the same week. Wow! I can't believe how fast he is growing up!
Since I don't have any pictures of my soccer boy yet, I thought I would share a few pix of the kidlets for fun. This one is of Logan, aka wagonmaster, taking his sister for a ride in a covered wagon. This was at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Visitor Center in Independence Missouri. We went there a few weeks ago when Tony's brother Andy and his wife Alicia were here visiting.
I love this one of Avery! She's like "Hey...get me out of here you crazy driver! If I lose my binky you are in big trouble mister!"
And this one is so cute too. Just the kidlets out on the deck enjoying a popsicle on a hot summer day!Notice the super cute bib on Avery? It's my SIL Jody's design! I seriously LOVE her bibs...they are the best! I recently gave some bibs and matching burp cloths to a friend for her baby shower, and another girl there said they were like "a scrapbook page on a bib!" So cute! I think she is working on getting an actual site up to sell her bibs, and other fun things, so I will for sure share the link when I get the info!

Sheesh--when did Avery get so big?! Your kids are so cute and look so similar!
Have fun in soccer.
What a cutie Avery is...little carrot top...glad everything is well...
Hey, I want to be a soccer mom too! Trouble is Ammon is not too interested in sports right now. Maybe Sissy will be!
I can picture little Logan running around kicking the ball-- of course I'm sure he's much bigger than the picture in my head because it's been so long since I've seen him!
Oh do not worry-you dont have to know a thing with that age group and soccer and it will not teach you a thing. They just all chase the ball-it is pretty humurous!! Congrats-it is a big step!!!I think I might electively forget about sign ups this year!
BTW- Thanks for the San Diego advice..I think we are doing it!!!
